Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Small, air fryer-safe baking pan
  • Large mixing bowl
  • Whisk or hand mixer
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup 113g unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup 200g granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup 60g all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup 40g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup 85g chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Prepare the Batter: In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar. Whisk in the eggs one at a time, then the vanilla extract.
  • Mix Dough: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour and Arrange: Pour the brownie batter into a greased and floured air fryer-safe pan. Place the pan in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring there is space for air to circulate.
  • Air Fry: Cook at 325°F (165°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Cool & Enjoy: Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 15-20 minutes before slicing to allow them to set.

Notes

    • Don't Overbake: For a perfectly gooey center, remove the brownies when they still look slightly soft in the middle, as they will continue to cook as they cool.
    • Cooling is Crucial: Do not skip the cooling step. It is essential for the brownies to set and achieve their final texture.
